Morris Police Benevolent Society
Morris Police Benevolent Society is comprised of active Morris Police Officers, retired Morris Police Officers and civilians. Our mission is to cultivate positive interactions with the citizens of Morris and assist citizens and members in need. Donations to MPBS are used for local charities as well as and other initiatives as they are developed.
Due to the nature of our job, we regularly encounter people in need and through the MPBS we are able to make a difference immediately. Some of these funds this year gave us the opportunity to help Morris citizens in need. These funds also helped us support our continued commitments. For example, Craft with a Cop, Special Olympics Run the Beat, High School Student Scholarships, Grundy Area PADS and our last project was helping provide AED’s in downtown Morris that is accessible to the citizens.
All donations help us further our cause to promote positive interactions with the citizens of Morris. The Morris Police Benevolent Society strives to provide a “Higher Level of Service,” and we want to build stronger ties with the community and meet more needs.
